The coffee

I do not know what about you, but I passionately love  the coffee. The essential part of my mornings is drinking the hot, fragrant, rich, espresso  mixed with a little hot milk just to soften and highlight the flavor of coffee. So I  can do my job  refreshing and with full of energy.

Advent in our hotel

Towards the end of the year, the life of the hotel has speeded up. We are ready for the holidays: a huge Christmas tree, the Advent wreath are   set up in the lobby, the hallways are decorated with  pine branches, so our guests can  relax in  intimate environments.

Mikron in the Continental Hotel Budapest

Micron, the  small electric city car is designed and implemented by Hungarian engineers  just over 5 months. The car was displayed in the lobby of our hotel  during the period of  WUSME Conference. The  prototype of Micron, which is barely larger than a motorcycle was  brought to life  at  place of STS Technology in the  Industrial Park of  Győr, where the first test drive also took place.

Magic and illusion

Our hotel hosted the legendary "Magic Behind the Mask" show performed by  Jeff McBride on 21st of  November  2011.  The magician is called the king of  cards and masks.

C. J. Thomason in the  Continental Hotel Budapest

I’ve already mentioned in my previous blog that our  hotel hosted the shooting of   the movie “SOS Love”- an American-Hungarian-Russian co-production-  directed by  Tamás Sas. Yesterday I got this  little movie, in which CJ Thomason, the  talented young actor tells the story of a day spending in our hotel.

Harvest in ETYEK  a’la  Continental Hotel Budapest style

The  wine tasting  program of  Continental Hotel Budapest was being  held in  Etyek village all day long on 8th of October.

I was very pleased that our hotel hosted the "We love Budapest" unusual trend conference. The presentations introduced   Budapest as a progressive cultural capital and showed the changing trends in tourism in a slightly different perspective. This excellent initiative received high professional interest by the audience.

Tonight: The Hungarian- Swedish Football Match

Tonight, after a long wait there will be the decision whether the host or the guest  team can  qualify for the European Football Championship. How important it is for us, is also reflected in the forecast that all the tickets for the  game have been already sold.
